Enjoy this zesty kiwi smoothie before a race in hot temperatures. For an extra boost, you can add some green tea.
Kiwi fruit, grapes, lime and cucumber are rich in nutrients. Mint makes the drink refreshing and perfect to enjoy before a race in hot temperatures. However, kiwi and grapes include plenty of fibre, so if your upcoming workout is a high-intensity one, you can use less of kiwi and grapes and replace them with the juice of your choice. You can also boost the smoothie with green tea that includes caffeine, as well as chia seeds which are rich in water-soluble fibre.
Zesty kiwi smoothie
6 kiwis, peeled
200g green grapes
½ cucumber
2 limes, squeezed (you can also grate some zest into the smoothie)

If you want an extra boost for a long training session:

2 tbsp chia seeds
Pour hot tea on the chia seeds and let sit for a minute. Add to the smoothie.
